Hobbies and Pastimes
- Gardening, cooking, canoeing and hiking north woods and parks, sewing, yoga (have now added weight training), getting together with our family, playing with grandkids and reading (30-year member of "The Desperate Book Group")
- One of my favorite books: The House at Otowi Bridge: The Story of Edith Warner and Los Alamos by Peggy Pond Church, New Mexico University Press
Working in the Past
- Teacher in elementary school for three years, co-owner of a pre-school for 10 years and two childcare centers for four years
- The above latter two were my introduction to small business.
- Volunteer in the Edina school career center and afters school classes for 10 years
Working in the Present
- When I sold the childcare centers I began working with Linc in his consulting and insurance business. I discovered that the activities of this business may include teaching, learning and working with people to solve problems and provide products and information that are important to their daily lives. And there is something new every week!
